Meet PBNG’s first-ever leadership team

After a six-day nomination process we are excited to announce that the Palm Beach News Guild has settled on its inaugural leadership team.

Guiding our guild as it begins its important work are two co-chairs representing newsroom staff of The Palm Beach Post and one co-chair representing Palm Beach Daily News journalists:

  • Co-Chair: Adriana Delgado, Palm Beach Daily News general assignment reporter.
  • Co-Chair: Sonja Isger, Palm Beach Post education reporter.
  • Co-Chair: Hannah Morse, Palm Beach Post county government reporter.
  • Secretary: Chris Persaud, Palm Beach Post data reporter.

In total, 10 guild members were nominated for the three co-chair positions, and three were nominated for the secretary position. Seven co-chair nominees and two secretary nominees declined the nomination, eliminating the need for elections for any position.

Together, the guild’s new leaders will start the process of organizing a bargaining committee, appointing stewards and recruiting volunteers to fill other important roles.
